Advanced Solutions for
Complex Domains
We engineer tomorrow's breakthroughs in Scientific Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and cross-domain systems that redefine what's possible.
Where Deep Expertise
Meets Bold Vision
Mahavidya (महाविद्या — "Supreme Knowledge") was founded on a simple belief: the most impactful solutions emerge when diverse disciplines converge. We're a collective of engineers, scientists, and innovators who thrive at the intersection of complex domains.
From financial modeling to nuclear engineering, from high-performance computing to cutting-edge AI—we build bridges where others see walls. Our work spans safety-critical systems, enterprise platforms, and research-grade computational tools.
We're a remote-first team based in India, collaborating with clients and partners globally. Every project we undertake is a fixed-scope contract, ensuring clarity, accountability, and excellence in delivery.
What We Build
Cross-domain Solutions
Integrated architecture bridging the gap between disparate systems and complex problem spaces.
import numpy as np
def simulate_dynamics(state, t):
# Cross-domain physics model
d_state = -0.5 * state + np.sin(t)
return d_state
Scientific Computing
Engineering calculations for advanced platforms like Ganaka.

Cross-domain Solutions
We specialize in breaking down silos between distinct engineering fields. Our integrated architecture bridges the gap between disparate systems—connecting the precision of financial models with the physical rigor of mechanical simulations, and the safety-critical constraints of nuclear engineering with the agility of modern software stacks.
Most real engineering problems live at the seams between disciplines — physics, control, finance, regulation, and software all at once. Our team has worked across mechanical and structural analysis, process and chemical engineering, electrical and control systems, quantitative finance, and safety-critical software, and is comfortable moving between them inside a single engagement. That breadth helps us see failure modes single-discipline teams routinely miss.
Typical engagements include modernising legacy engineering tools, stitching simulation and analytics pipelines together, building computation services that domain experts and software teams can both trust, and acting as a translation layer when an organisation's specialists struggle to converge on a shared technical picture.
Scientific Computing & Ganaka
We unlock the full potential of Ganaka—the collaborative platform for creating, sharing, and managing engineering calculations. From calculation templates to automated reporting, we help teams transition from isolated scripts to scalable computational ecosystems.
Ganaka.cloud is a key client for Mahavidya. We deliver ongoing platform engineering and a steady pipeline of engineering calculation templates — feature development, performance and numerical-stability work, QA, security hardening, and technical documentation, alongside template authoring across mechanical, civil, electrical, and process domains.
Ganaka.cloud is an independent UK SaaS company; its founders serve as Non-Executive Directors of Mahavidya.
Artificial Intelligence & ML
We're building our AI & ML practice deliberately, anchored in the scientific computing and engineering work that defines Mahavidya. The capability we have in mind covers adaptive systems, predictive models, and explainable ML for domains where rigor and traceability matter — but we're not yet taking on commercial AI engagements. If you'd like to be an early design partner as this practice takes shape, we'd be glad to hear from you.
Neural Networks
Our neural networks practice is in early development, focused on applied deep learning for engineering and scientific domains — vision, signal processing, and pattern recognition where physical-world constraints matter. We're not yet offering this as a commercial service; we'd rather build it right than ship it early. Research collaborations and early-design engagements are welcome.
How We Work
We believe great work happens when talented people have the freedom, trust, and tools to do their best.
Ownership Mindset
We hire self-driven professionals who own their growth and career progression. You bring the initiative—we provide challenging work to apply it.
Remote-First Freedom
Work from anywhere in India. We trust you to manage your time and deliver results. No micromanagement, no surveillance—just outcomes.
Fixed-Scope Clarity
Every project has clear boundaries, deliverables, and timelines. You'll know exactly what success looks like—no ambiguity, no scope creep.
Interesting Problems
We don't do cookie-cutter CRUD apps. Our projects span nuclear engineering, financial systems, scientific simulations—work that genuinely challenges you.
Small Team, Big Impact
No bureaucracy, no endless meetings. You'll work directly with experienced engineers and have real ownership over your contributions.
Contract-Based Flexibility
We offer fixed-scope contract positions—perfect for those who value project variety and work-life balance over traditional employment structures.
Technologies We Use
Ready to Build Something Extraordinary?
We're always looking for curious minds who love tackling complex problems. If you're passionate about scientific computing, AI, or cross-domain engineering—we'd love to hear from you.
We hire for fixed-scope contract positions as projects arise. Current openings are posted on LinkedIn and leading job platforms.
